Hi {{ first name | Friend }} 👋🏾

When I first moved to Knoxville, I wanted nothing more than to discover the artists hangout spot. A place where you meet people from different walks of life with the same desire to create without limits. I struggled to find such a place and decided to built my own homing beacon for artists.

With the support of incredible artists, community members, and neighbors, SpaceCraft was born. It was a labor of love, where we used tools from alternative economies and bootstrapped income to bring this dream to life.

SpaceCraft was never about making an insane profit or exploiting the efforts of artists, it was about establishing a community where artists can build the confidence and skills needed to make a living following their dreams.

After a year and a half of hard work, we find ourselves with a natural break. A moment to find a new space while re-establishing who we are in the community. Stay tuned for a detailed impact report where we share all the ebbs and flows of what it took to bring SpaceCraft to Knoxville. Although we find ourselves seeking a new home, we know this is a great opportunity for us to look inward and create new pathways for connection.

Thank you all for following our journey and seeing yourselves in our mission. We can’t wait to create more memories with you in the new year.

Best,

Jaleria Rivera, Founder

🎨 SpaceCraft is Moving 🎨

Hi Everyone, it’s with a heavy heart to share that SpaceCraft will no longer be operating out of 119 Jennings Ave starting December 1, 2025.

The last year and a half has been an absolute pleasure, and today we find ourselves in an all too common story of having to search for a new space.

Fortunately, we are ready to expand and are eager to reimagine a new version of SpaceCraft that is more fortified and embedded within the community.

SpaceCraft started as a simple idea to create a homing beacon for artists to create without the pressures of perfection. And, we accomplished that goal ten times over!

SpaceCraft has been a home to over 300 experiences with over 4,000 artists and community members circulating our orbit.

We see this transition as a natural break in line with the Winter season and are excited to share all we’ve learned over the past year.

You can stay in our orbit by signing up for our newsletter and volunteering on the upcoming community clean up days.

Thank you all for seeing yourselves in our dream for a more vibrant, just, and playful creative community. See you next year!
